Startup - Launching and Development of a Design Agency

The master's thesis is devoted to the development of a comprehensive model for the creation and development of a design agency in the format of a startup project. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the current activities and strategic goals of the startup project to open a design agency. The research of the design services market revealed the key trends and competitive advantages of the project related to the high demand for high-quality design solutions, the growing popularity of creative industries and insufficient supply in the regional market. Based on the data obtained, an effective business model and an optimal organizational structure of the design agency have been developed. A set of measures has been formed to promote the brand and attract customers, including the creation of a website, the packaging of social networks, participation in specialized events and the implementation of a loyalty program. The developed financial plan demonstrates the high economic efficiency of the startup project implementation, which is confirmed by positive values of net present value and payback period. The key growth points for the agency are increasing revenue by expanding the customer base, increasing the average cost of services and optimizing the cost of attracting new customers, as well as expanding the team to scale the business. The results of the study can be used by entrepreneurs planning to open a design agency to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of startup projects in this area. The proposed approaches and recommendations are also of interest to the scientific community engaged in the study of the processes of creation and development of startups in the creative industries.
