Year of Graduation: 2024

Artificial intelligence technology (AI) has been steadily advancing year by year. Recent breakthroughs in the field of AI have allowed us to view neural network models from a new perspective, with generative models standing out particularly clearly. It has become increasingly noticeable that authors are employing generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in the creation of various types of content. One area of application for GAI is digital art. These services have garnered significant interest among professionals and casual users alike, providing them with a new, versatile tool for working with photos and images. In the context of this work, the author proposes an exploration of the process of creating a service for photo stylization using generative neural networks. The aim of this work is to develop a service that allows users to transform their photographs using various styles with the help of generative neural networks, while ensuring the preservation of the user's identity during the image processing. "The study of the subject area" includes a market and technology overview, examination of barriers and ways to overcome them, assessment of various approaches to creating such services from a technological and infrastructural perspective, an overview of monetization strategies, and calculation of the project's economic parameters. The "Development" chapter focuses on the direct implementation of the project using modern approaches and technologies. In the third chapter, "Pilot Project Launch," the author discusses the results of the initial project launch, evaluates the success of the decisions made, demonstrates the obtained metrics, and outlines the future plans for the project.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
