The current psychological science is faced with a public demand for the study of productive forms of relationships with oneself. In view of this, the phenomenon of solitude is of particular interest, the research of which is actively underway at the present time. In the past, understood as a negative human condition, now more and more often there are scientific works in which solitude is recognized as a personal resource which one is related to the possibility of internal dialogue. At the same time, research on the phenomenon of internal dialogue faces two limitations: at the level of theory, it is understood too broadly, which blurs its phenomenology, and at the level of empiricism, its contradictory connections with the well-being are observed. The necessity of studying this phenomenon within the framework of the qualitative methodology is substantiated. The methodological basis of our research is the differential model of loneliness by E.N. Osin and D.A. Leontiev, ideas of solitude as a phenomenon of the inner world by R. Koplan, S.A. Ishanov, etc., the dialigical self theory by H. Hermans, general psychological analysis of the inner dialogue by G.M. Kuchinsky, F.E. Vasilyuk's concept of life worlds, N.P. Busygina's qualitative methodology of psychological research, A. Georgi's phenomenological approach. The purpose of our research is to study the structural and substantive aspects of internal dialogue in solitude. For this purpose, we have developed a psychotechnical semi-structured interview. The study involved 17 respondents (13 women, 3 men, 1 non-binary person). The data analysis was carried out using a descriptive phenomenological analysis of A. Georgie. As a result, a structure of internal dialogue in solitude was obtained, which includes 4 topics: prerequisites for internal dialogue, features of the course of internal dialogue, consequences of internal dialogue, specific ways of internal dialogue. The context and structural features of the internal dialogue are described and discussed. It is noted that internal dialogue can be considered as a component of personal experience in the Valisyuk's framework. Unique cases of internal dialogue are highlighted, which represents the perspectives of scientific research.
