Student: Lander Leonid

Supervisor: Pavel Korolev

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Internet of Things and Cyber-physical Systems (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2024

Graduate qualification work is devoted to multi-factor forecasting of dependability measures of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems. During this work the advantages of IIoT systems’ implementation, their architecture and causes of failures were considered, theoretical materials on the basics of dependability in general and dependability of IIoT systems were studied. Moreover, the existing mathematical models and methods used in practice to assess the dependability measures of hardware, software and network components of the systems were described and presented, and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. Based on the analyzed information, a refined approach to multi-factor forecasting of IIoT-systems’ dependability measures was proposed, considering them as multilevel systems and taking into account both hardware, software and network components.
