This work is dedicated to the study of emotional burnout in mothers of children diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and its correlation with the structural characteristics of their families. The cross-cultural study examines cultural differences in these connections in Russian and Kazakh families. The results showed cross-cultural differences in the connections between mothers' emotional burnout and the structural characteristics of their families. In Kazakh families raising children with CP, high levels of mothers' emotional burnout corellates with disconnection and chaos in the family system. In Russian families, cohesion and flexibility of the family system contribute to the emotional well-being of mothers. The studies also indicate that a certain degree of rigidity in Russian families, understood as structure and predictability, can improve mothers' sense of competence, acting as a resource component and supporting order and regularity in daily life, which is important for caring for a child with CP. This structuring helps mothers preserve resources, energy, and gives meaning to their efforts.
