This dissertation is devoted to the topic “Improving the methods of regulating the urban passenger transportation market.” A study of the foreign market of urban passenger transportation has been conducted. A study of car sharing on the territory of the Russian Federation is demonstrated. The methods of urban passenger transportation are described. The principles of car sharing are considered. The analysis of the development of the car sharing market abroad and on the territory of the Russian Federation is carried out. A recommendation has been made for the development of the car sharing market. The development of a project proposal based on car sharing for development in other cities of the Russian Federation is described.
