Developing Project Management Processes in a Company

The development of project management processes plays a key role in improving the efficiency and success of projects. The use of a design methodology as a basis for the development of project management processes provides a high level of control of the project tasks, the efficiency of using the company's resources and improve communications between project participants during the implementation of projects. However, the successful implementation of project management processes is determined not only by the knowledge of the basic principles of process management, but also by the general level of organizational competence of the company in the field of project management. The level of organizational competence of the company determines the ability to effectively apply project management processes. For a successful adaptation of project management processes, it is important to take into account the specifics of the company, its mission, goals and development strategy. This approach will contribute to the formation and strengthening of the management culture, as well as the constant development of the company's competencies in the field of project management. In this paper, an analysis of existing project management standards was carried out, a comparative analysis of the models of assessing the maturity of project management was performed, and the features of the application of the process approach in project management were considered. In the research part of the dissertation, the main prerequisites for the development of project management processes were determined, as well as an assessment of the current level of competencies of the company in the field of project management. Based on the identified prerequisites, in the practical part of the work, the development and description of the processes of project management was performed in accordance with the aim of the dissertation.
