In the context of rapid technological changes, digital transformation is becoming a key factor in the development of business structures, having a significant impact on organizational processes and the psychological state of employees. This study examines the relationship between the level of digital stress and job satisfaction among employees of organizations at various stages of digital transformation. The purpose of the study is to adapt the Digital Stress Scale (DSS) for a Russian-speaking audience and analyze its relationship with job satisfaction. The study was carried out in two stages: at the first stage, an abbreviated version of the digital stressors scale, including 30 statements, was adapted into Russian. At the second stage, an adapted questionnaire was used to measure the level of digital stress and assess its impact on employee job satisfaction in the context of digital transformation. The study results confirmed the hypothesis that the digital transformation process may increase certain digital stressors, which, in turn, is associated with a decrease in employee job satisfaction. The theoretical significance of the study is to fill the knowledge gap about the specifics of digital stress among Russian-speaking employees, and the practical significance is to provide data that can help managers develop strategies to reduce digital stress and increase job satisfaction in the context of digital transformation. The main findings of the study indicate the need for a deeper study of the impact of digital transformation on the psychological state of employees and the development of effective methods for managing digital stress in organizations.
