Year of Graduation: 2024

The work on the topic "Improvement of the Transport and Warehouse System of a Manufacturing Enterprise Using Simulation Methods" consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and appendices. The purpose of the work is to reveal the possibilities of using simulation modeling methods to increase the efficiency of the transport and warehouse complex of a manufacturing enterprise. In addition, one of the main goals is also to analyze modern research on the use of simulation modeling methods and subsequent analysis of gaps in these studies, as well as an attempt to adapt and develop the ideas embedded in these studies. The first chapter reveals the basic concepts related to the transport and warehouse complex, the use of simulation methods in logistics and the analysis of modern research. In the second chapter, attention is paid to the concept of a digital twin, describing its advantages and opportunities that open up when integrated with simulation modeling. In addition, a methodology is being developed to assess the level of reliability of the simulation model relative to the real system. The third chapter describes the process of building a simulation model of a large transport and warehouse complex of a manufacturing enterprise, describes the possibilities of improving the efficiency of the transport and warehouse system using the developed model, and then assesses the level of its reliability based on the previously developed methodology. In addition, the possibility of introducing a digital twin into this system is also being evaluated, the main implementation steps are being developed and a cost estimate is proposed. The work is completed with conclusions and recommendations based on the results obtained.
