The Representation of Russian Nationalist Movements on YouTube after February 24, 2022

This study aims to examine the impact of instability on online communications of far-right communities on YouTube in the Russian context. The main goal of the work is to identify changes in the media policy of far-right groups during the period of hostilities, and to analyze the representation of nationalists on YouTube, taking into account the structure of channels and video content. The study seeks to understand how the military crisis in Russia may contribute to the increasing influence of ultra-patriots on YouTube and identify possible radicalization trends through this media channel. The results of the study may help to understand how instability affects online communications of far-right communities in the Russian Internet space.
