This paper examines the process of developing and modifying the service of one thematic block in order to increase its effectiveness and improve the user experience. The focus is on three key aspects: the transition to a new architecture, resource optimization, and the introduction of machine learning algorithms to improve the search scenario. The transition to a new architecture involves analyzing the existing service structure, identifying its vulnerabilities, shortcomings, and developing a more efficient and scalable architecture. This will improve the performance, reliability and flexibility of the service, as well as simplify its further modification and expansion of functionality. Resource optimization is aimed at increasing the efficiency of using computing power, data storage and network resources. The use of load balancing, data compression and other techniques will reduce infrastructure costs and ensure fast and stable operation of the service with an increasing number of requests and data. The introduction of machine learning algorithms into the search scenario is aimed at improving the relevance and personalization of the search results of the thematic unit of the value converter. Using methods of analyzing user behavior and learning based on feedback (random fees), ML models will be able to better understand user requests, take into account their preferences and context, and provide more accurate and useful results. The paper provides a detailed description of each stage of the development and modification of the service, analyzes possible problems and suggests ways to solve them. The results of the study show that the proposed changes can significantly improve the quality and efficiency of the service, improve the user experience and expand opportunities for further development and implementation of new functions in the thematic block of the value converter.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
