Currently, the labor market is experiencing major changes, primarily related to staff shortage. The problem of shortage of personnel generates a struggle for talents, in particular in the commercial real estate development market. In this regard, the research is aimed at improving the strategy of retaining young professionals in the IBC Real Estate company. Retaining current employees is more economically beneficial than recruiting new staff, and due to the shortage of young professionals, retaining employees becomes even more important. The purpose of this study is to give recommendations to support and increase the level of engagement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of IBC Real Estate employees aged 18-35 years, as well as to strengthen the motivation of interns to stay in the company. Engagement, satisfaction and commitment are the main determinants of employee retention, respectively, if these indicators are at a high level, then employees will work longer and more efficiently in the company. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were performed: analysis of theoretical approaches to employee retention, study of the current retention strategy at IBC Real Estate, interviews with employees and a comparative analysis of retention actions to identify best practices. As a result of the study, it was possible to form an approach to employee retention and identify key factors that influence staff retention. After that, the implementation of the identified factors in IBC Real Estate was analyzed, which became the basis for the developed recommendations for increasing the engagement, satisfaction and commitment of young professionals.
