Improvement of Procurement Performance on the Example of Dodo Franchising Company

Effective procurement management plays an important role in the success and competitiveness of any business organisation. Procurement helps to optimise costs, improve the quality of products and services, and strengthen market positions. Dodo Franchising is a fast-growing company that specialises in the production, distribution and delivery of food products. Dodo Brands includes Dodo Pizza, Drinkit and Doner 42. The company operates in the QSR (Quick-Service Restaurant) segment. This paper will focus on the procurement management of Dodo Franchising and develop recommendations to improve the procurement management process. Through analysing the company, a number of problems have been highlighted including the manual exchange of order, stock and purchasing calendar information with the provider. The thesis is focused on modifying the information sharing process with suppliers and providers to achieve timely response to enquiries and quality control of supplier performance. The object of the research is the procurement management system of the company Dodo Franchising, the subject of the research is information exchange with 4PL-providers and suppliers for the most effective co-operation. The aim of the paper is to develop recommendations for improving the procurement management process of the fast-growing company Dodo Franchising from the QSR segment.
