Designing an Information System to Improve the Efficiency of a Real Estate Agency

In the economic structure of Russia, the real estate market stands out as one of the most significant segments, playing a crucial role in ensuring stability and supporting the growth of the national economy. This sector is constantly evolving and remains relevant, which contributes to an increase in the number of players seeking to secure their share of profits. Real estate agencies are integral participants in the market; however, due to increasing competition, they are compelled to seek and apply various methods to strengthen their positions. In this context, the implementation of IT solutions for optimizing work processes becomes one of the best options. The primary objective of this work is to design an information system for a real estate company that will help improve the main business processes. The study set the following tasks: comparing modern information systems and selecting the best solution, modeling the business processes of a real estate agency based on a specific company and identifying bottlenecks, defining business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements, comparing existing CRM systems, modeling the current and target architecture of the enterprise, describing the architecture of the information system, and configuring a prototype. The object of the research is the business processes of a real estate agency. The subject of the research is information systems in real estate companies, including the analysis of various types of systems, their capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages, as well as comparing and determining the best solution. During the project implementation, a prototype CRM system was configured, taking into account all specified requirements, which allowed for a visual representation of the future interface and functionality. The conducted research holds significant value for companies of various scales and can serve as a guide to action, helping agencies at each stage of their development to maximize the effective use of CRM system capabilities to achieve high results in their activities.
