The Impact of Cultural, Economic and Technological Factors on Transformation of Retail Business in China after the Covid-19 Pandemic

The master's thesis is devoted to the analysis of the impact of technological, economic and cultural factors on the transformation of China's retail trade after the COVID-19 pandemic. The study includes a comprehensive analysis of global trends in retail business transformation after the COVID-19 pandemic, the specifics, structure and participants of retail trade, taking into account technological, economic and social factors. As the main tool for confirming the hypothesis, the author conducted an interview with four representatives of the Chinese retail industry, namely, the city of Guangzhou. The results of the study demonstrate the strong impact of information and digital technologies on the transformation of China's retail business in the period after the COVID-19 pandemic.
