Due to the increasing flows of information being created, electronic document management or enterprise content management systems in the last few years have gradually moved from the status of auxiliary information systems to the status of "infrastructure components", without which business is impossible. At the same time, the implementation of EDMS systems is a very labor-intensive and complex process, which must be carefully approached in order to achieve the success of the project. This work is devoted to the proposal of solving problems with the document workflow business process of a particular brokerage company by introducing a new EDMS and developing new document workflow processes. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were performed: an analysis of the "private banking" market was carried out, as well as an analysis of the company and its business process of document management AS-IS was carried out, models of the TO-BE business process in BPMN notation were modeled. Also, through interviews with end users, the requirements for the future system were collected and formalized, and a vendor was selected, a phased implementation plan and an analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation have been drawn up. The expected effect of the successful implementation of the project will be minimization of number of risks for the company and reduced costs.
