Nowadays many companies are focused on optimizing and digitizing their business processes, including internal operations, to serve internal customers better. Recognizing the potential risks and careful planning needed for new automated systems, organizations use architectural control. This approach ensures IT solutions align with the corporate architecture and strategic goals, avoiding unnecessary implementations and future problems. This work aims to optimize architectural control in the company. To meet this goal, the study summarized findings from literature on architectural control and then evaluated how the company manages these processes. This was done based on the interviews conducted with the employees. The analysis showed that the low speed and the large number of steps required to carry out and pass the architectural control has a negative impact on this practice. The study's findings allowed for the development of recommendations applicable the company. These recommendations are aimed at speeding up, reducing bureaucracy and increasing the efficiency of the Architecture Change Management process.
