Analysis and Optimization of Company Business Processes

Analysis and optimization of business processes allow companies to be competitive and provide higher-quality services. To disclose the topic, the business processes of the company "Repair of Electric Machines" were identified. The ranking method was used to determine the highest priority process for analysis. The main problem associated with this process has been identified, which is an increase in the number of complaints from customers 2023. During the research and analysis of the business process of repairing industrial electric motors, it was necessary to identify the prerequisites and causes of this problem. Thus, main causes of the problem were identified due to methods such as studying the company's documentation, modeling in BPMN notation, visual analysis of the graphical scheme, spaghetti diagram, timekeeping of the working day, timekeeping of the process These reasons were that locksmiths reduce the time of the process by eliminating certain operations. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations were developed that could improve the process and reduce the number of prerequisites affecting the occurrence of defects that led to complaints. It was proposed to reduce the time spent working with paper documents by implementing Excel spreadsheets in order to free up time for the repair process itself, as well as to introduce control over compliance with the technological process. After offering these recommendations to the company's management, one of them (Excel spreadsheets) was implemented and had practical benefits for the company. The benefit was that employees stopped spending a lot of time working with documents and began to devote more time to the process, not skipping its individual stages.
