Selection of Prospective Products for Tinkoff-Business in the Field of Foreign Economic Activity

The aim of this thesis is to identify the best products for investment to increase the NPV of Tinkoff's foreign economic activity (FEA) products. The work is relevant due to the current issues faced by the company: - limited geography of payments and currency conversions, creating difficulties for clients working with restricted countries; - lack of comprehensive products for companies engaged in FEA, limiting the company's ability to serve clients. The following tasks were set in the course of the work: - analyze the current state of the foreign economic activity market in Russia; Identify key success factors for banking products aimed at FEA participants; - study global best practices to identify unmet needs in the FEA market; - develop criteria for assessing the investment attractiveness of new products; - recommend promising products capable of increasing the NPV of Tinkoff-Business FEA products. As a result of the research, the following results were obtained: - an analysis of the current needs of FEA participants was conducted, and the main problems they face were identified; - Tinkoff-Business's current products and services were compared with the needs of FEA participants; - based on an analysis of global best practices, new approaches and solutions to meet client needs were proposed; - criteria for evaluating promising products were developed, including financial attractiveness, risks, and availability of necessary resources; - two promising products were selected: transfers to restricted countries through payment agents and comprehensive services for non-resident companies, which are expected to generate a combined NPV of over 1 billion rubles over 5 years. Based on the research, the following recommendations were proposed: - expand the geography of payment and conversion operations for FEA participants by building a currency transfer platform through payment agents; - create a product for the comprehensive attraction and servicing of non-resident companies.
