Information System Design for Managing Student Project Work

This graduate qualification work highlights the process of designing an information system for managing students' project work. The purpose of this work is to design a system that will support the process of project-based learning at the Higher School of Economics Perm. The described system automates the process of selecting project topics by students, and is also used as a mean of further communication between project participants. The work contains 64 pages of the main text in A4 format. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the process of project-based learning at the Higher School of Economics Perm. The second chapter describes the process of forming requirements for the designed system. The final chapter of the paper presents the process of designing the architecture and database of the solution, and also describes the process of prototyping user interfaces in the Figma tool. In the main part of the work there are 17 pictures and 5 tables. The work contains 6 applications: BPMN diagram of the student project management process, a precedent diagram for the designed solution, a Use Case table for each of the described precedents, a technical specification assignment according to GOST 34, a database diagram and screenshots of the developed user interfaces. The bibliographic list consists of 25 sources in Russian and English.
