Internationalization Strategy Development for Russian Pharmaceutical Company X in the EAEU Markets

Internationalization is an important process in today's globalized world that can significantly improve business revenues through gaining access to a wider market. The Russian pharmaceutical industry is currently receiving excellent incentives for export activities due to the active assistance of the state. This paper devises an internationalization strategy for a pharmaceutical Company X to improve its financial results and gain the opportunity to invest in the development of the company. Data collection will involve conducting qualitative interviews with top and middle management of the company, as well as gathering information from open sources. In this paper, an analysis of the internal and external environment of the company, an analysis of the host country and the industry, a comparative analysis of cultural differences in Russia and the host country will be carried out. Finally, a business internationalization strategy for Company X will be modeled. International activities will strengthen the position of Russian medicines on the international market and open up new opportunities for the development of domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers.
