Analysis and Improvement of the Procurement Business Process in an E-commerce Company

Modern businesses are focused on improving their products and services to gain leading market positions. Business Process Management (BPM) methodology opens up prospects for effective regulation of internal procedures, thus contributing to improved organisational performance. The main task of this research is to analyse in detail a certain process within the company and to create specific proposals for its improvement on the basis of this analysis. The realisation of the set task involved studying the key BPM concepts and selecting the best techniques for detailed review and improvement of the process. As part of the study, the organisation's business process was thoroughly analysed and documented, the points requiring attention were identified and, ultimately, ways to optimise it were proposed.
