Development of a Beauty Salon Management System

Ivan Mikhailovich Gusev's graduation thesis, completed at the Faculty of Social, Economic, and Computer Sciences of the Perm Branch of the Higher School of Economics, is dedicated to the development of a management system for implementation in the beauty salon "Kudri rum". The aim of the thesis is to develop a system that automates the appointment scheduling process in the beauty salon. The practical significance of the graduation thesis lies in creating a unique software product on the 1C platform to reduce significant operational and time costs associated with appointment scheduling and reporting. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography, and appendices. The first chapter analyzes the subject area, examines current solutions, and discusses practices for implementing management systems in beauty salons. The result of the first chapter is the user and functional requirements for the system. In the second chapter, requirements are formalized using UML diagrams, and a data model is designed. The third chapter involves developing user interfaces and system functionality on the 1C platform.
