The final qualifying work is devoted to the study of the use of ontological analysis based on the Bunge-Wand-Weber model for the description and analysis of executable business processes. The work examines the theoretical foundations of business process modeling and ontological analysis, and also analyzes the problems that arise in the work of a particular company. The work provides a practical study of two key business processes: marketing and attracting students, as well as supply and procurement. For each process, “as is” (AS-IS) and “to be” (TO-BE) models were built, problems were analyzed and solutions for optimization were proposed. The paper also analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using the Bunge-Wand-Weber ontology in comparison with the traditional BPMN 2.0 notation for modeling business processes and draws conclusions on the choice of the preferred approach. The VKR includes 4 chapters. The volume of work is 62 pages. When writing the work, 19 literary sources were used.
