In the bachelor's thesis in Management, the development of a competency model for the manager within the digital transformation of business processes at the chemical company "Himtrust" is examined. The primary goal of the research is to analyze the impact of digitalization on managerial competencies and to develop a corresponding model capable of increasing the speed and effectiveness of decision-making in a rapidly changing market. The work thoroughly analyzes the current state and main problems of the company arising in the wake of digital technology implementation. It examines the market situation and competitive environment in which "Himtrust" operates. Special attention is given to the analysis and systematization of academic sources on the topics of digital transformation and competencies, which enriches the theoretical basis of the work and substantiates practical proposals. At the practical level, a competency model including necessary skills and knowledge for managers is proposed. The model has been tested in "Himtrust’s" operations, confirming its effectiveness and practical applicability. The results of the research can be used to optimize management processes, enhance competitiveness, and support the sustainable development of the company in the market. Thus, the thesis contributes to the development of theoretical and practical aspects of human resource management in the context of digitalization, offering effective tools for updating and improving the competencies of the managerial staff in the chemical industry.
