The paper addresses the problem of utilising the resources and competencies of Agrosoros to ensure profitable growth of its UAV services business unit. To address this problem, a strategy has been developed to expand the business into a new market - agro-scouting and field monitoring using drones. In order to achieve the objective of the study, the following tasks need to be carried out: 1. To analyse the external and internal environment of Agrosoros UAV division, to determine its position in the market presence and to highlight the competitive advantages of the company 2. Formulate and evaluate strategic alternatives for business expansion, taking into account the key strengths and weaknesses of the company, as well as the highest priority threats and opportunities of the external environment 3. Review theoretical aspects related to the chosen expansion strategy in order to determine the expected effects and factors affecting the success of its implementation 4. Formulate the target image of the organisation at the corporate and business level and identify the key initiatives required to achieve it 5. Determine the metrics of the strategy's investment attractiveness 6. Develop a plan for implementing the initiatives, metrics for evaluating the strategy's performance after implementation, and assess the strategy's investment attractiveness 7. 7. Analyse potential risks that may reduce the effectiveness of the strategy and develop an approach to reduce their impact on the company. As a result of the work, a horizontal diversification strategy within the industry has been developed for the company. It includes a long-term vision for the development of the UAV industry, a plan for entering a new market and initiatives aimed at achieving synergies between business units. All the proposed recommendations are aimed at ensuring profitable growth of the new direction, which is the initial goal of the company's management. The practical significance of this study is the possibility of using the proposed recommendations to expand the business in line with corporate objectives. The developed proposals are based on the company's resources, competences and goals and allow to develop competitive advantages, ensure profitable growth of the UAV division, and provide a set of metrics to evaluate the process of strategy implementation.
