Disruption of the Rational Behavior of Institutional Investors in the Emerging Capital Markets

This academic study, among many violations of rational behavior, focuses on the herding effect for institutional investors. Taking data for the last 2.5 years for management companies of mutual investment funds in Russia, it was revealed that the crowd effect is almost 2 times stronger among institutional investors in the Russian Federation compared to other countries.
