Developing Adaptive Project Management Recommendations in Distributed Teams for VRT Company

This paper explores the difficulties encountered in applying agile methodologies in distributed team environments, which has become particularly relevant after many companies have switched to remote working. By analysing the identified problems and their causes, specific features of work in teams working remotely were identified. Based on the obtained data, recommendations for adapting flexible methodologies for working with remote employees were developed. The purpose of this research is to develop a set of modifications for use within agile project management in distributed teams of VRT company in order to increase the efficiency of work processes. The practical relevance of this research is to provide the results of an analysis focusing on the existing challenges faced by distributed teams when using agile methodologies, as well as recommendations for minimising the difficulties identified. The findings will be useful for both managers and participants of distributed project teams to adapt work processes to remote activities and improve efficiency. In order to achieve the goal of the work i was conducted a research based on qualitative and quantitative analysis: interviews with project managers of VIARTI LLC, a questionnaire survey of 38 project team members and a comparative analysis on the application of flexible management methodologies in distributed teams by Russian IT companies.
