The Promotion of a Music Project

The final qualifying work examines marketing in the music industry, the features of various promotion options, both in general and using the example of a specific music group. The purpose of the work is to analyze the effectiveness of existing methods of promotion in the music industry and, through research of the potential target audience, to identify the necessary tools that solve the problem of the musical group «Pyrokinesis». Methods used in the study: surveys, interviews and CustDev with ten respondents who listen to different musical genres and are interested in artists and their concert activities to varying degrees. The result of the study is the formation of four directions for promoting a musical group that solve the problem of low recognition: participation in popular YouTube shows, the use of outdoor advertising, promoting music through its use in TV series and promoting music through videos.
