How Government Support Measures During the COVID-19 Pandemic Have Affected the Small Business Sector

The diploma provides an analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 external shock on small businesses and government support. The main problem is that the impact of support measures, which can manifest themselves in the long term, is limited. The purpose of this study is to identify the most effective tools for state support of business entities by the state, identify difficulties and propose ways to level them. In order to study the problem, several approaches were used: dialectics, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, as well as special methods such as statistical, tabular, graphical, comparison and integrated assessment. The results of the study will assess the effectiveness of the government's activities to support small businesses during the COVID-19 crisis and will contribute to the development of recommendations for improving future support initiatives.
