In addition to classical analysis, there are analytical approaches that demonstrate different levels of "analyticity" at present time. In contemporary approach, it is important not only how the patient's psyche functions or dysfunctions, but how it is analyzed in terms of the psychotherapist's own psyche. The subject of our work is considered in the paradigm of the post-Bionic theory of the analytical field, which aims to create tools that allow you to "dream", feel and think, that is, we can say that psychoanalysis is aimed at developing an "apparatus for thinking thoughts." The authors of the study consider it necessary to pay attention to the mental well-being of psychotherapists as a factor determining the very process of therapy and its results. Therefore, the hypothesis of the research states that psychoanalytic work can cause risks of violation of the psychoanalytic function of the therapist's personality, which can have a negative impact on the therapy process and cause emotional burnout of the therapist. Accordingly, compliance of mental hygiene is necessary for the professional activity of a psychotherapist. So authors suggested the main aspects of psychohygiene that have positive impact on the professional activity of a psychotherapist and functioning of the psychoanalytic function of a personality. An empirical research is devoted to establishing correlations between the parameters of the therapist's mental well-being and the parameters of his professional burnout. The focus on the importance of the therapist's psyche in the psychoanalytic process will make possible to assess and respond to issues of self-help and psychological well-being in present, as well as determine to what extent these values will persist and potentially grow within the framework of professional culture in future.
