This study examines and compares the culturally specific features of verbal manifestations of emotional intelligence among students from Russia and Latin America. In the context of increasing globalization, understanding how emotional intelligence is expressed in different cultures is crucial due to its significant impact on human behavior and interactions. The aim of this research is to identify the influence of cultural differences on the level of emotional intelligence and the verbal expression of emotional reactions among students from Russia and Latin America. Through comparative analysis, the study seeks to deepen the understanding of the relationship between culture, language, and emotional intelligence. The research methodology employs a mixed approach, consisting of a quantitative method (Edward Hall's emotional intelligence questionnaire) and a qualitative method (Goleman's emotional competence questionnaire with modified questions). Both parts of the survey were conducted in Russian and Spanish, allowing for an in-depth analysis of the interaction between emotional intelligence, cultural aspects, and verbal expression of emotions. The results of the study indicate that students from Russia and Latin America demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and similar verbal manifestations of emotional reactions. Key categories of responses were competitiveness, adaptability, and acceptance among Russian students, and acceptance, compromise, and foresight among Latin American students. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of considering cultural context in the assessment and development of emotional intelligence, which contributes to creating a more inclusive and supportive educational environment. The study provides valuable insights for the development of communication strategies and educational programs that take cultural specifics into account, aiming to improve academic and interpersonal relationships among students from different cultural backgrounds.
