Prosocial Involvement as an Aspect of Urban Literacy

The work is devoted to identifying the connection between the attitudes of older adolescents in the field of pro-social involvement and their pro-social knowledge and skills. To establish the existence of this connection, was studied the relevant area of modern research on the topic, were considered classifications of fundamental terms, were carried out and correlation and regression analyzes of data from testing and questioning of schoolchildren. Based on the results of the data analyses, it was concluded that there was confirmation of the existence of a relationship between attitudes and the level of pro-social involvement. The tasks were also to propose methods for adjusting testing instruments and to develop a number of recommendations for the formation of pro-social involvement of older adolescents. The main recommendation for improving the survey is to increase the representativeness of the sample and deepen the content of the questionnaire. To form pro-social involvement, it was mainly proposed to disseminate prosocial information among older adolescents and create an environment accessible to the implementation of pro-social knowledge and skills, and conducive to the acquisition of pro-social attitudes.
