Enterprise Architecture and Digital Twins in Industry 4.0

The presented work examines the change and transformation of enterprise architecture in the context of Industry 4.0. The priority goal of organizations is to obtain and increase the profitability of the company. To achieve this goal, it is necessary, first of all, to create an enterprise architecture and, subsequently, to make architectural decisions in such a way that they contribute to profit growth. Growth is directly achieved by improving the quality of goods and services offered by the organization and other aspects of its activities. All this emphasizes the significance and relevance of the topic being studied. The purpose of this work is to study changes in enterprise architecture in the context of Industry 4.0. As an example, “Digital Twin” technology was used in this work. The presented work contains contents, introduction, three main chapters and conclusion.
