This paper studies the magazine "Zrelishcha" with the subtitle "Weekly of theatre, music hall, circus, mass action, tefizkult, balagan, cinema", which was published from 1922 to 1924 in Moscow, under the editorship of L. V. Kolpakchy. The main goal of this work is to highlight the idea, that a magazine can be viewed as a "literary fact" of avant-garde. With the help of formalist theses, the author studies three main aspects of the magazine: style, chronicles, and debate, concurrently showing the inner ties and connections to the broader context. In the first chapter, it is made evident, that visual style of "Zrelishcha" and the deliberation on RSFSR style in it interconnect greatly, proving the point of a magazine being an intact piece. "Chronicles" is dedicated to the development of "Zrelishcha" in time. The third chapter showcases the phenomenon of debates in "Zrelishcha" and RSFSR in general, stating that discussion was a foundation of art at that time. More than that, the research is conducted on the base of recital of content, which made statistical observations possible. In conclusion, this paper can serve as both in-depth analysis of a significant piece of Russian avant-garde era, and a source of valuable data and findings.
