Comparative Analysis of the Perception of Contemporary Art in Russia and France Based on the Cultural Differences

This study endeavors to explore the intricate interplay of cultural characteristics that influence the perception of contemporary art in Russia and France, employing an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses cultural studies, art history, and intercultural communication. The methodology integrates both quantitative and qualitative methods, including sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and manual analysis of text corpora. The research identified both similarities and differences in attitudes towards contemporary art between the countries in question. The findings can be utilized for further exploration of art perception within the framework of intercultural communication, and the practical recommendations provided for refining cultural policies may be employed by artistic institutions.
