The Main Types of Bifurcation Communicative Situations in the Russian-English Translation of the Poetry of the Silver Age

The poetic translation in the most vivid form reflects the cultural characteristics of the country of the source language. In the current situation, the presentation of key concepts and values of Russian culture for the English-speaking reader is as relevant as possible. Based on these considerations, there is no doubt about the relevance of the study of poetic Russian Russian translations into English in general, as well as translations of the poetry of the Silver Age into English in particular, since this period of Russian history is the era of the heyday of Russian poetic culture. The object of the research in this final qualifying work is the Russian poetic texts of the Silver Age and their English–language translated versions, and its subject is bifurcation situations arising in the process of communicative and cognitive activity during its creation. The aim of the study is to identify and study the main types of bifurcation communicative situations in the Russian-English translation of poetry of the Silver Age. The scientific novelty of the work is due to the fact that it makes an innovative contribution to the study of poetry of the Russian Silver Age and its English-language translations from the point of view of such a bifurcation situation as the relationship between accuracy and beauty of translation. The results obtained during the The analysis of the temporal invariants of poetry based on the material of its multi-temporal translations and in the aspect of gender specificity of the transmission of the poetic translateme is also innovative.
