Pragmatic Shifts in the Translations of “The Leenane Trilogy” by M. McDonagh into Russian

The work is devoted to the study of "pragmatic shifts" in the translations of dramatic works into Russian. A special place in it is occupied by the study of the terms "pragmatics of translation" and "pragmatic adaptation" in order to establish the basic methods and theoretical principles of the pragmatic approach to the text. One of the goals is to develop a method for analyzing translations in terms of the presence of "pragmatic shifts" in them, in order to pave the way for further study of practical ways to reduce their number in translations. Translations of Martin McDonagh's "Linane Trilogy" into russian are used as material, which are comprehensively considered from a pragmatic point of view.
