Narcissism and especially the narcissistic personality have actively entered the expressions of the 21st century. Most often they are used without reason and understanding, hanging them as a kind of stigma on certain behavior of people, more often men. While narcissistic personality disorder itself is recognized by the Russian reference book ICD-10 and the American reference book DSM-5 as a mental disorder, and psychiatrists consider narcissistic personality disorder as a pathological process that requires treatment. The purpose of our work was to consider narcissistic leadership as an object of psychological study within the framework of organizational relationships, goal achievement and communication behavior, as well as the influence of childhood and the presence of siblings in the formation of narcissism. The following tasks were formed: to analyze the influence of siblings on the formation of narcissistic trauma, to study the relationship between the level of narcissism and the effectiveness of leadership activity, to develop recommendations to colleagues for safe and effective work with narcissistic personalities. In our work, we found that narcissistic leaders show a stronger influence on subordinates, which can lead to communication problems and conflicts in the leadership group. Narcissism in leaders is associated with increased motivation to achieve success and leadership positions, as well as increased confidence in their own abilities. Narcissism in leaders is formed in childhood for numerous reasons, with parents playing a major role. In addition, narcissistic personalities are particularly influenced by siblings, which has a detrimental effect on narcissistic personalities and those around them.
