At certain stages of life, many people experience a loss of meaning associated with age and professional crises, when various aspects invariably collide with reality, not allowing consciousness to remain in an illusory state. More and more customers today come with requests, the root cause of which is the inability to cope with the challenges of such a crisis period on their own. The study of the specifics of age and occupational crises, taking into account gender characteristics, allows us to study the main approaches and give some recommendations in dealing with such crises to create opportunities for their successful resolution. The main conclusions of the work: 1. The peculiarities of living a loss of meaning associated with age and professional crises in men is the desire to find their professional uniqueness, which will weaken the fear of competition and uncertainty of the future, and create a kind of guarantor of a secure old age. And for women, the desire to compensate for failures in the personal sphere at the expense of professional ones, or vice versa, does not bring satisfaction, but the desire to balance these significant areas calms them down. 2. Regardless of gender, the choices and decisions that lead a person into a painfully lived crisis, for the most part, are aimed at avoiding guilt and shame in order to hide their "I" in a "childish way" from a judgmental gaze and punishment. 3. Using the positive sides of clients' psychological defenses, such as devaluation and omnipotent control, helps to transform the request and reach new meanings and goals related to gaining control over their life and death, which already at the initial stage of cooperation significantly reduces anxiety. 4. In the work of the psychoanalytic coach, there were no features and special methods of analysis for different genders, since both male and female parts are inextricably present in the human psyche, with which the psychoanalytic coach works when they are most manifested, we work not with the gender of a man and a woman, but with the masculine and feminine principles of a person. The approaches, tools and techniques described in this work enable the client to cope with a multicomplex of crisis experiences, feel a sense of reality, begin to test it and adapt to it, taking into account the perceived losses and limitations.
