The purpose of this study is to analyze the Russian and Soviet culture of travel through the prism of the speech genre “Hello from the Journey”. This work can help to look at historical events from a different perspective and will allow you to see changes in the thoughts and texts of that time. The article uses methods of linguistic analysis of postcard texts and comparative analysis of postcards from different time periods. The study examines various speech genres, with special attention being paid to the genre of the postcard “Hello from the Journey”.
