In modern medicine, it is especially important to ensure the preservation and improvement of the professional health of medical workers. The daily work of specialists in the medical field is subject to the negative effects of various harmful factors that can negatively affect their overall health and contribute to the occurrence of occupational diseases. The relevance of the study of the mental health of health care workers in modern reality is due to the need to study the impact of occupational loads, psychosocial factors and working conditions on the mental well-being of medical personnel. The purpose of this thesis is to study the processes of maladaptation of medical workers in modern reality using the example of a specific medical institution, as well as factors that affect the occurrence of maladaptation syndrome in the professional activity of this category of specialists. The object of the study is medical workers employed in the field of healthcare, using the example of one medical institution. The subject of the study is the process of maladjustment and its impact on the mental health of this category of specialists. Research hypotheses: 1. The levels of depression, anxiety and stress in the medical staff providing medical care to the participants of the SVO are significantly higher than in the medical staff providing medical care to patients with COVID. 2. When providing medical care to the participants, the levels of depression, anxiety and stress in nurses are significantly higher than in doctors. As part of the study, a scale of depression, anxiety and stress was selected. Hospital respondents rated on a 4-point scale the degree to which they had experienced each of the conditions over the past week.144 doctors and 171 nurses were interviewed.A comparative analysis of the maladjustment of specialists providing medical care to participants of the SVO and medical workers providing medical care to patients with COVID was carried out. The conducted research did not confirm the hypotheses put forward.
