The master's thesis is devoted to the study of the collapse of a leader and his internal dynamics, personal factors and mechanisms of resilience and recovery after failures. The purpose of the work is to study the activities of leaders who have gone through situations of critical failures from the point of view of psychoanalysis in order to suggest which factors influenced the recovery process, to discover relationships; to identify behavioral strategies regarding interaction with the team. Research objectives: analysis of theoretical approaches and concepts of leadership; the study of the features of personal formation in the process of psychological development; the study of cases of leaders in order to identify the factors that have become decisive in the restoration of a leader. The work includes theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, important aspects of leadership research are considered, studying the views of philosophers, psychologists, psychoanalysts, and executive coaches. The empirical part is devoted to the presentation and analysis of case studies of leaders from the corporate and entrepreneurial world. The result of the work are conclusions confirming the hypothesis of the existence of natural significant factors and protection mechanisms through which the leader creates a new reality for himself, helping him to heal from mental anguish and conflict.
