The master paper describes the process of creation and approbation of scenarios of classes on the interdisciplinary course «Home Economics» for students in primary school, based on research and project activity. The essential characteristics of research and project activity in primary school age are described and compared. The necessity of the course is justified theoretically using the cultural and historical context. Also justified practically due to the analysis of approved courses in “Home economics”. Intersubjectivity is based on creative classes, mathematics and the natural science - a subject that has propaedeutic significance for most basic school courses. In the master paper were developed 2 cycles of scenarios, each has 4 and 3 lessons respectively. The first cycle is devoted to consistent work with fabric: washing with various methods and cleaning products, drying, folding and storage. The second cycle focuses on the work with food products: from the study of the necessary parameters at purchase to the study of the complexity of recycling residues by flushing. Each course lesson is motivated by a key question and encourages the student to research work. Approbation was carried out on the basis of three iterations of the consecutive approximation model in three regions of the Russian Federation. Thanks to the use of the iterative model of instructional design, the absorption of the material increases at each iteration, as can be seen in the scale diagram. Conclusions and recommendations for improving educational and methodological development were made, and strengths and weaknesses of implementation were noted based on the results of approbation.
