Psychological Dynamics of Anxiety in an Organisation Using an Example of an IT-Company

This graduate qualification work is based on the topical issue of understanding the underlying processes of anxiety theory when working with companies and their leaders in organizational consulting. On the example of analyzing the case of a Russian private IT-company, the dynamics of anxiety, the emergence of social defense mechanisms are investigated, the role of the company founders in the processes of working with anxiety is studied. The work confirms the hypothesis that the organization is created by the founders to protect themselves from their own psychotic anxiety, and this is a fundamental problem and a possible cause for future crises at all stages of its development. This research leads to an understanding of the importance of applying adaptive strategies in management that can contribute to counteracting anxiety and overcoming crises.
