Comparison of Discursive Strategies of Russian Mass Media. The Case of the Announcement of Partial Mobilization in Russia 2022.

The aim of the study was to compare the use of discursive strategy techniques by different political discourses of Russian media. For this purpose, a literature review of existing studies on this topic was conducted to establish a theoretical framework and to find the research puzzle. The literature review helped to identify four prevailing political discourses: official, left-wing, conservative, and liberal. Moreover, through the literature review, fifteen possible methods were identified. A comparative content analysis was then conducted. The results of the study were the identification of the most popular methods within each discourse as well as outside the context of the discourse. In addition to identifying the popular methods, other findings were made.
