Accessibility of the Urban Environment of Yekaterinburg Districts for Teenagers

The relevance of the work lies in the fact that the urban environment is an important socio-cultural space for the formation and development of the personality of children and adolescents; and since many researchers note that the most active and mobile part of any society are teenagers, the main attention was paid specifically to this social group, with the help of which it becomes possible to explore the accessibility of the urban environment through their active interaction with it. The main research question of this work is formulated as follows: how accessible is the urban environment of Yekaterinburg districts for teenagers? The object of study is the urban environment of Yekaterinburg. Subject - accessibility of the urban environment of Yekaterinburg districts for teenagers. The purpose of the work is to assess the accessibility of the urban environment of Yekaterinburg districts in the course of communication between adolescents and the urban environment. Tasks: 1) Analyze the theoretical and legal foundations of accessibility of the urban environment for adolescents; 2) Develop a methodology for assessing the accessibility of the urban environment for teenagers; 3) Determine the practical aspects of accessibility of the urban environment of Yekaterinburg districts for teenagers; 4) Research the practice of using the urban environment by adolescents in the districts of Yekaterinburg. The research hypotheses are: 1) Districts of the city of Yekaterinburg are unequally provided with leisure facilities for teenagers; 2) To spend leisure time, teenagers from their areas of residence gravitate to other areas where leisure infrastructure is better developed; 3) Most teenagers do not attend municipal cultural and leisure institutions created specifically for the purpose of spending their leisure time. Research methods are: • Survey; • Cartographic method; • Document analysis. Based on the listed methods, the work analyzes the practice of teenagers using the urban environment when spending leisure time in order to identify the most popular places to visit, inaccessible objects, the provision of areas with leisure facilities, etc. As a result of achieving the goal, the accessibility of the urban environment of some areas of Yekaterinburg for teenagers was assessed through the approach of territorial and financial accessibility, as well as the provision of territories with leisure facilities.
