The thesis presents a study of the stylistic features of the industrial architecture of Samara at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries. In the second half of the 19th century, Samara became one of the main industrial centers of the Russian Empire, and this naturally led to the search and formation of a style for the city's industrial buildings. The work examines the objects of two main Samara industries: brewing and flour milling. The goal of the work was to highlight the general stylistic features characteristic of industrial architecture, as well as local features of the style. The study presents conclusions about possible borrowings and samples – Samara architects preferred neo-Gothic, Russian, brick styles and Modern architecture, borrowing individual elements from them. The work also describes the influence of the client, the architect and the geographical location on the industrial architecture of Samara.
