Year of Graduation: 2024

This paper is devoted to the topic of two types of aspect: absentive and progressive. It explains some aspects that are missing in previous works on these grammatical constructions in the German language (Krause 2001; Abraham 2007), for example, what semantic classes of verbs can be used and with which variants of constructions. Also a comparison is made of how the progressive and objective aspects are arranged in German versus some other European languages.
