Reutov on the Both Sides of the Railroad: the Influence of the Border on the Image of the City

This work is devoted to the analysis of the influence of the main railway line on the geographical image of the modern city of Reutov. Historical features of the development of the city such as division into two parts and historical stages of city development, as well as modern use of the territory led to the formation of various spatial and figurative ideas about the city among its residents and guests. With the help of in-depth interviews and mental maps, the main features of the modern geographical image of the city and the influence of the railway on it were identified.
